From the long collaboration between professional cheese master Roland Barthélemy and Forge de Laguiole was born the Nomade cheese knife, which proudly combines two great traditions of French heritage.

The design blends modernity and efficiency, specially crafted as a true companion for cheese gourmands. The blade has a wide edge to perfectly coat even the most delicate dishes.

About Roland Barthélemy
Roland Barthélemy is president of the International Guild of Cheesemakers. He comes from a family of cheesemakers and discovered this fascinating world at a very early age thanks to his father Jean-François.

Over the years, he has become a proud ambassador of traditional French cheesemaking. He has even served as cheese supplier to the Presidential Palace of the French Republic.

His dedication to French cheese heritage has earned him several awards, including:

Commandeur de l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole

Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Légion d'Honneur

He also serves as a jury member in numerous cheese competitions worldwide.

Handle Material: 100% American cotton fabric combined with BPA-free resin, stabilizing hundreds of layers of dyed fabric. The main advantage of this material, besides its incredible strength, is that the color is embedded within and therefore will not fade.
