Local women, in Galicia (Spain), called the "Tinned Food Ladies" skillfully hand-fillet La Brújula conservas, which are esteemed globally as some of the top preserved seafoods. 

The company manually selects and hand packs the products to meet the high standards of the most discerning chefs. There are no additives in their products.

La Brújula also promotes sustainability and biodiversity using responsible methods of fishing.

Sustainably captured at dawn in their Atlantic fishing grounds using traditional fishing methods. We select small specimens and carefully clean them, cutting the head and fins and gutting them one by one. After cleaning in brine, they are steam-cooked and packed, also naturally.

My husband liked them

As this order has still not been delivered and the company is not answering the phone or returning my call even though I left a message I would not recommend buying anything from them.
It has arrived now and there was a miscommunication as the company sent a text but I called from a landline. I did not receive the text. They emailed and called a few days later.
